PGA Golfer Grayson Murray Dies at 30

PGA Tour golfer Grayson Murray has died at the age of 30, one day after withdrawing from the Charles Schwab Challenge in Fort Worth, Texas. The PGA Tour confirmed his death on Saturday.

Murray, a two-time PGA Tour winner, has battled alcohol issues and depression in recent years. The cause of his death has not yet been released.

Murray won the Sony Open in 2023 and the Barbasol Championship in 2017. He was known for his long drives and aggressive play.

PGA Tour Commissioner Jay Monahan expressed his condolences in a statement.

"We are deeply saddened by the loss of Grayson Murray. He was a talented golfer and a beloved member of our community. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends during this difficult time."
