Bo Bichette's sacrifice fly in the bottom of the ninth inning scored Vladimir Guerrero Jr., giving the Toronto Blue Jays a 1-0 walk-off win over the Boston Red Sox on Tuesday night.
Guerrero was hit by a pitch with one out to start the inning and advanced to second on a single by Marcus Semien. Bichette then drove a 1-2 curveball from Matt Barnes (0-4) to deep left field, allowing Guerrero to tag up and score easily.
The win was the Blue Jays' third in a row and improved their record to 33-27. The Red Sox, who have lost six of their last nine games, dropped to 29-32.
Bichette's sacrifice fly was his third of the season. He also has 10 home runs and 32 RBIs.
The Blue Jays will face the Red Sox again on Wednesday night. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET.
